Benefit Program Technician – State of Missouri

Join the Family Support Division (FSD) at the Greene County Customer Service Center located at 101 Park Central Square, Springfield, MO.

As a Benefit Program Technician, you will help Missouri citizens receive food, medical, financial, and nutritional assistance so they can live safe, healthy and productive lives. Each day you will determine initial and continuing eligibility for these services, interview clients in person and by telephone, prepare summaries, and perform related administrative tasks.

• Determine initial and continuing eligibility of Missouri citizens for food, medical, financial, and nutritional assistance.
• Interview clients in person and by telephone.
• Prepare summaries and other documentation.
• Perform related administrative tasks to support service delivery.

• At least 4 years of customer service experience or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Personable, compassionate, and non‑judgmental attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
