RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission)

• 13-week assignment length

• Weekend hours as required by facility

• No call requirements

• Float on rotational basis to other units

• Patient ratios vary: nights 1:6-1:8 (estimates, not guarantees)

• Work with 27-bed orthopedic unit caring for patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities

• Required certifications: BLS from AHA, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)

• Preferred certification: ACLS from AHA

• Current RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)

• Minimum 1 year telemetry experience (inpatient only) required

• Must have experience and competence in drug titration

• Preferred orthopedic inpatient experience

• Utilize nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

• Work with EPIC EMR system

• Equipment includes Alaris pumps, telemetry, and lift equipment

• Black scrubs required - no torn clothes, open-toed shoes, or non-scrub attire

• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available entire orientation week

• Must maintain patient confidentiality and professional accountability

• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs
