RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be indicated on submission form)

• 13-week assignment length

• Weekend hours as required by facility

• No call requirements

• Will float on a rotational basis

• Patient ratios vary:
Days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:8 (estimates, not guarantees)

• Work on 32-bed unit with specialty surgery patients including GI/GU/ENT/Urology

• Equipment includes Alaris pumps, telemetry, and lift equipment

• Electronic Medical Records system: EPIC

• Must have 1 year telemetry experience (inpatient only)

• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, 4 trauma credits (or complete within first two weeks), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)

• Preferred certifications: ACLS from AHA only

• Current RN license that meets criteria for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri

• Must have experience and competence in drug titration

• Preferred experience with trauma patients (inpatient only)

• Dress code requires black scrubs

• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and must be available entire week

• Utilizes nursing process to provide patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

• Position requires calm demeanor, collaboration skills, and strong communication abilities
