As a Certified Peer Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals in crisis recover from alcohol and drug dependencies, and achieve their goals.

** Key responsibilities   **
* ** Participate
* * in treatment planning with the team and client
* ** Engage
* * clients in a collaborative and caring relationship, using interpersonal skills, knowledge about recovery, and a trauma-informed approach
* ** Provide
* * support to clients through validation, exploration, and pursuit of community roles, and convey hope and celebrate efforts and accomplishments
* ** Share
* * personal recovery experiences and practices to inspire and support clients
* ** Assist
* * clients in identifying their strengths and personal resources to aid in their recovery
* ** Develop**, maintain, and provide information about community resources and services
* ** Accompany
* * clients to community activities and attend relevant events
** Qualifications   
*** High School Diploma/GED
* Must have a valid driver’s license and a favorable recent driving record.
* Must be a Certified Missouri Peer Specialist
