RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• 13-week assignment length

• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission)

• Work weekends as required by facility

• No call requirements

• Float on rotational basis to other units

• Patient ratios:
Days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:8 (estimates)

• Minimum 1 year telemetry experience required (inpatient only)

• Must have experience and competence in drug titration

• Preferred orthopedic experience (inpatient only)

• Current RN license required (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed)

• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (may obtain prior to start)

• Preferred certification: ACLS from AHA only

• Dress code requires black scrubs

• Work with Alaris pumps, telemetry equipment, lift equipment

• Use EPIC electronic medical records system

• Care for orthopedic patients post-trauma and surgical interventions

• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments

• Physical demands include standing/walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting patients with assistance

Adex Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
