This position serves as the overnight pharmacist embedded in the Emergency Department (7 on / 7 off), providing direct support to physicians and nurses during high-acuity situations including codes, traumas, and strokes, and ensuring safe, timely, and effective medication use throughout the ED.

ACLS is preferred within 365 days of hire.

Staff pharmacists process and verify orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.

  Bachelors in Pharmacy – Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
• Preferred:
  Doctorate of Pharmacy – Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency
