- The Global Radiology Technologist responds to procedural or radiology critical coverage needs throughout the system. Competency in the OR/c-arm procedures and Fluoroscopy sub-sections of the Xray modality requires versatility to cover any need throughout system Diagnostic Radiology departments. Performs Diagnostic Xray procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, maintaining high quality imaging and patient welfare as a top priority.
Independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology/interventional radiology (IR) procedures consistent with the established standards of medical care in radiology, follows policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority. - Education
- Required:
Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiological Technology
- Required:
- Experience
- Preferred:
Associate degree in Radiology - Preferred: 1-2 Years Dedicated Experience in IR or Cath Lab
- Preferred:
- Skills
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills and flexibility.
- Knowledge of current radiography technical information.
- Proficient in using computers and computer systems.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, organization, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- R.T. (R) (ARRT)
- R.T. (CI), (VI), or (CV) must be obtained within 18 months of hire date
