Job Summary: The Clinic Manager V is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of a multi‑specialty clinic on a single site. The role requires leading, delegating, and managing clinic missions, goals, budgets, and performance standards while communicating with staff, physicians, patients, public, and external agencies. The Clinic Manager V must be extremely organized, able to lead and supervise multiple employees simultaneously, and possess skills in data gathering and interpretation, independent judgment, decision‑making, and problem‑solving.
Job Requirements- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare‑related field OR five years of related experience OR prior experience as a Clinic Manager within Cox Health.
- Experience: Preferred:
Management experience in a healthcare setting. - Skills:
- Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding and its impact on reimbursement from third‑party payers.
- Strong grammatical and business communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Successful completion of all department‑specific credentialing within the first 90 days of employment.
- Leadership, budgeting, policy, procedure, and organizational structure knowledge.
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: None required.
