RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours (must be specified on submission)

• 13-week assignment length

• Weekend hours as required by facility

• No call requirements

• Will float on a rotational basis

• Patient ratios vary: nights 1:6-1:7 (ratios not guaranteed)

• Work with 32-bed unit caring for neurology, medical, and medical telemetry patients

• Equipment used:
Telemetry monitors, lift equipment, IV pumps, tube feeding pumps

• EMR system: EPIC

Required:

Current RN license eligible for Missouri, BLS from AHA, NIHSS (can obtain prior to start)

• Experience requirements: 1 year telemetry experience (inpatient only), experience with drug titration

• Preferred: 1 year neurology experience (inpatient only)

• Dress code:
Black scrubs only

• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and must be available entire week

• RTO must be made up on back end, not approved in first week

• Holiday RTO limited to 1 per assignment

• Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance
