The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Nutritionist in our WIC program. This position will promote individual and population health through nutrition education initiatives and health behavior change programs in the WIC setting for diverse populations. It will evaluate dietary needs of pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children and also be responsible for explaining and certifying eligibility of WIC participants on the basis of nutritional risk.

Work hours may fluctuate in relation to the assigned clinic and will vary between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM.
Bilingual capabilities in Spanish are strongly preferred.

• Requires graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics;
• One year of WIC experience;
• A Bachelor's Degree in a related area with 15 hours in Nutrition, Community Nutrition and Diet Therapy course work;
• One year of WIC experience;
• Fully bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish.

• Assignment requires incumbent to possess a valid Driver's License and must be able to provide own vehicle for on the job transportation purposes.

• Requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics;
• Bachelor's Degree in a related area with 15 hours in Nutrition, Community Nutrition and Diet Therapy course work.

Nutritionist: $42,619.20 - $73,174.40 Annually

Nutritionist Educator: $39,436.80 - $61,380.80 Annually
