Physical Therapist (PT), Per Diem Weekends, Home Health

Join BAYADA Home Health Care as a home health physical therapist to provide compassionate care to patients in the comfort of their homes in the Springfield, MO area. This is a per diem weekend position.

• Flexible full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules

Perform home visits to clients, helping them recover from injury, illness, surgery, or hospitalization.

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Focus on orthopedic patient visits
• Perform diagnostic tests and measurements of mobility, range of joints, transfer status, stability, gait, strength, endurance, balance, and safety assessments
• Implement wound care interventions to prevent formation and promote repair
• Develop individualized care plans including manual therapy, gait training, balance, and other interventions
• Collaborate with nursing in multidisciplinary care plan
• Educate clients and family about rehabilitative care and activities for independent living
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state‑of‑the‑art touch‑pad tablet

• Active and current PT license
• One year of clinical experience preferred
• Previous home health care experience welcomed but not required
• Ability to travel locally to cases as assigned
