, you’ll play a key role in ensuring clients can access services by accurately verifying insurance coverage and supporting authorization and billing processes.

• Verify client insurance benefits and document coverage details in the electronic medical record.
• Communicate with insurance companies to obtain benefit information and prior authorizations for counseling and diagnostic services.
• Follow up on pending authorizations and help resolve denials or coverage issues.
• Explain insurance coverage and authorization status to clients in a clear, compassionate way.
• Support billing and administrative teams to ensure accurate and timely claims processing.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; education in healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a medical or clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, medical terminology, and billing processes.
• Strong communication skills and comfort with frequent phone interactions.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records, Excel, Outlook, and learning new systems.
• Ability to work independently in a shared office environment.

• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
• site position (daily office attendance required)
