Registered Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care; PEDS

Provides specialized respiratory care for critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients, working alongside critical care nurses and operating at the top of their licensure.

• Transport critically ill neonates and pediatric patients via ambulance, providing high-level respiratory support and monitoring.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory interventions in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer complex therapies, ventilatory support, and participate in specialty teams such as ECMO, bronchoscopy, and transport teams.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, support management, and infection prevention.
• Evaluate patient responses, adjust treatments accordingly, and promote safety and quality of care.

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of pediatric/neonatal critical care experience preferred.

  Certifications:
  
  Respiratory Care Practitioner, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), BLS, NPS.
• Strong technical skills, critical thinking, and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
