Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Springfield is60-bed Rehabilitation Hospital. Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions. Our Unit is a very fast‑paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow!

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a dynamic Physical Therapist Assistant who is passionate about helping others and is a team player! Other requirements of the position include the following:

• Education:
  
  Associate's degree from a PTA program.
• Experience:
  
  Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• License:
  Current PTA license in state of practice.
• Certifications:
  
  CPR certification required.
