Brief Description
If you have a passion for problem solving, love technology, and enjoy thinking outside the box, you are who we're looking for. As a Technical Support Technician for DMP, you provide technical assistance and problem resolution to DMP dealers through any supported means of communication. You will ensure customer satisfaction by delivering a quick and accurate solution to a variety of issues that our dealers face while installing and servicing electronic burglary, fire and access control products.
Qualifications- Excellent verbal communication skills; able to convey competence, confidence and empathy over any means of communication.
- Demonstrated proficiency in typing.
- High degree of accuracy/detail oriented.
- Ability to troubleshoot or problem solve.
- Ability to learn technical materials quickly.
- Answer technical questions through any means of communication.
- Make customers and their needs a primary focus of actions; develop and sustain productive customer relationships.
- Find solutions, do not leave callers without a resolution or steps to resolution.
- Demonstrate job excellence by taking detailed notes of everything that happens during calls.
- Verify answers are correct by testing or checking documentation.
- Develop knowledge of security industry and its products through dealer interaction.
