Position Summary

As the Infrastructure Manager, you will lead our infrastructure team in delivering a robust, secure, and scalable hybrid cloud environment. This role is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our core infrastructure systems both on‑premises and in the cloud, ensuring high‑availability, performance, security, and scalability across compute, storage, and network environments.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of on‑premises data centers and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP); drive automation of provisioning, configuration, and routine maintenance using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Shell scripts, and Azure Dev Ops.
  • Design, develop and execute infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business objectives, evaluate and review business justifications for hardware and software solutions.
  • Document infrastructure processes and maintain clear operational procedures for compliance and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor system performance and capacity, and implement improvements to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Ensure infrastructure meets security standards, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Manage infrastructure budget, optimize costs, and recommend capital expenditures.
  • Manage vendor relationships and procure hardware/software, negotiating service contracts.
  • Proactively enhance monitoring and alerting systems to detect and resolve issues before they impact customers; own regular reviews of system performance metrics with stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of infrastructure engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Strictly adhere to the time and attendance policies of the NLRC.
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
Education and Training
  • College degree or equivalent job experience.
Experience
  • Technical leadership – 7+ years managing IT infrastructure, including data centers or hybrid environments.
  • Cloud leadership – 3+ years operating public cloud core services (Azure, AWS, GCP) such as VMs, containerization, networking, and storage.
  • Networking & cybersecurity – Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and disaster recovery principles.
  • People management – Minimum 3 years managing teams.
  • Mentorship and technical leadership – Demonstrated ability to grow engineering teams and foster collaboration.
  • Agile focus – Experience delivering complex projects in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional experience with datacenter infrastructure hardware: racks, blades, storage, servers, switches, firewalls.
  • Virtualization & containerization experience (VMware, Hyper‑V, Docker, Kubernetes) and Windows/Linux server management.
  • Network infrastructure management (ethernet, fiber, wireless) and experience with Fortinet and Cisco.
  • Databases – experience managing relational (MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres) and No

    SQL (Mongo

    DB, Redis) databases.
  • Automation and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools:
    Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet or similar.
  • CI/CD and Git Ops knowledge, building pipelines with Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or similar.
  • Real‑time logging, monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery patterns.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑native application architecture.

  • Resource and capacity planning across on‑site, remote, and contract teams.
  • Architectural communication – document design decisions and roadmaps for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
