Job Summary: Responsible for all operations, including P&L responsibility, for assigned Urgent Care Center(s) in a region. Duties include staffing, financial, clinical and administrative performance, and project management to achieve maximum performance and expense control. Establishes work procedures and standards to improve center operation efficiencies and effectiveness and provides recommendations for strategic planning, budgeting, revenue planning, and volume for assigned centers.
Works directly with leadership, providers, clinic team members, corporate resources and partners to achieve high quality care, exceptional service and financial goals.
- Attend centers 4 days per week for on-site leadership.
- Manage P&L for assigned centers, ensuring staffing levels for Medical Assistants, Radiology Technologists and other operations staff.
- Develop and execute staffing models, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Achieve and exceed budget targets by managing and reducing operational expenses and maximizing staff productivity.
- Maintain strict confidentiality for EMR, medical records and other patient and team member data.
- Process payroll accurately and manage scheduling for assigned markets.
- Set revenue and volume targets and establish a positive community presence.
- Collaborate with Marketing to maximize marketing spend and visibility.
- Build and maintain community relations, identifying outreach opportunities and supporting base growth.
- Oversee site maintenance and vendor/supplier relationships, reviewing and approving supply orders as needed.
- Prioritize work activities and implement center operation policies and procedures.
- Report bi-monthly KPI meetings with market leadership and provide metric improvement guidance.
- Ensure high quality patient care and address escalated customer service concerns.
- Build and coach an effective team of Team Leaders, fostering a nurturing culture.
- Support cross‑market initiatives, share best practices, and track progress.
- Lead market-wide initiatives, including project management and outcome assessment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline preferred. - 3+ years of operations management experience required, 4+ years in a medical or healthcare environment preferred.
- 2+ years managing multiple sites.
- Valid State Driver’s License and successful MVR background check.
- Ability to bring the GoHealth vision and mission to life and inspire team members.
- Strong goal setting, communication, and delegation skills.
- Bias toward action while managing risk and exercising good judgment.
- Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of health care compliance policies and application of this knowledge.
- Experience in budgeting, revenue planning, and operational efficiency.
