Shipping & Receiving Crew Lead – Night Shift

Schedule: 12‑hour shifts 7pm‑7am. 2‑2‑3 cycle:
Week 1: 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on. Week 2: 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off.

About the Role

This role at Egg Central Station (ECS) is critical in bridging the gap from local family farms to grocery stores. You will be on your feet during each twelve‑hour shift, moving, lifting, loading, and working in a warehouse environment.

A Day as a Shipping & Receiving Lead
  • Assist in managing the schedule laid out by Logistics and Warehouse Operations Leadership
  • Set daily objectives and communicate to employees
  • Ensure KPI communication reaches all shipping associates
  • Guide crew to achieve 100% picking accuracy and loading/unloading time
  • Ensure proper warehouse organization and FIFO picking rotation
  • Work with Shift Supervisors and Production Managers to align production and shipping goals
  • Ensure new employees are properly trained
  • Ensure safety and food safety procedures are followed
  • Anticipate problems and make quick decisions under pressure
  • Lead daily direction setting meetings when required
  • Provide recommendations to Logistics and Warehouse Operations Leadership
  • Recognize that daily success is measured by core values, not numbers alone
  • Lead and develop operators by creating equipment and process owners
  • Lead with a positive attitude and mindset
What You Bring to the Table
  • Two plus years related experience or equivalent.
  • Experience leading & supervising a team.
  • Strong inventory control skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 60 lbs.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Forklift certified or ability to become certified.
  • Must comply with all safety requirements.
