Production Supervisor

Job Description

Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy‑duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets. This role is a Production Supervisor at our manufacturing facility located in Springfield, MO.

Headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana, Dexter has manufacturing and distribution locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Our facilities employ state‑of‑the‑art robotics, precision welding equipment, and automated machining processes, enabling us to maintain superior quality, continuous improvement, and unparalleled customer service.

The Redline Production Supervisor directs and oversees the packaging/kitting and warehouse operations. The role provides direction to associates to complete production goals in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to company policies and ensuring all associates comply with company safety standards.

• Safety Compliance
  • Enforce safety procedures and PPE use; maintain a safe and orderly work environment by proactively addressing safety issues; lead a safety committee and conduct safety training.
• Quality Control
  • Ensure products meet quality standards by implementing training, inspections, and issuing corrective actions.
• Production Scheduling
  • Plan and organize production schedules to meet order due dates and maximize on‑time delivery.
• Team Management
  • Lead, motivate, and guide a team of production and warehouse associates; provide training and performance feedback.
• Workflow Optimization
  • Monitor production processes for efficiency, recommend and implement improvements.
• Resource Management
  • Ensure efficient use of personnel, materials, and other resources.
• Inventory Management
  • Oversee a daily cycle count program and year‑end inventory; direct the receiving, storing, and shipping of raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.

  • Ability to motivate and effectively guide a team to accomplish department and company goals.

• Associate’s degree or higher.
• 4+ years supervisory experience in a warehouse or production setting.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
