. The Helper in the Fabrication Department is an essential support role responsible for assisting with daily operations on the shop floor. This entry-level position requires a willingness to learn, the ability to follow instructions, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Job Summary

• Follow written and verbal instructions to support fabrication tasks.
• Learn and develop basic knowledge of fabrication shop operations.
• Clean and maintain organization in the Fabrication Shop.
• Operate power tools and equipment under supervision.
• Assist with material handling using forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Perform tasks that may require working from ladders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support team goals by being available for overtime when production demands increase.
• Work collaboratively with others and independently when needed.

• Self-starter with strong motivation and a willingness to learn.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Capable of working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience or willingness to be trained.

• Ability to walk and stand for the majority of the shift (approximately 90%).
• Frequent use of hands and arms; ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in environments with fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold).
• Ability to safely and effectively operate welding equipment and fabrication tools.
