MACHINIST

Machinist

We are currently looking for a Machinist to join our team.

• Program, set up, and operate CNC and/or manual machine tools.
• Mach surface within .005" consistently.
• Plan the sequence of cutting and finishing on routine projects.
• Inspect parts to specification on drawings using employee‑owned measuring tools.
• Read and understand basic measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, tape measures, etc.
• Safe powered industrial truck operation.
• Overhead crane operation to load and unload material.

• Ability to review and understand drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
• Basic math skills; fraction to decimal conversion used regularly.
• Basic computer skills.

• HS diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

• Base hourly: $22.25–$26.25.
• Shift differential: 10%.
• Variable:
  Incentive bonus up to 10% of gross annual base on company performance (as of 2024).

Exposure to dust, fumes, noise, high‑degree varying seasonal temperatures. Machinery with energy sources including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, or other energy.

Regular walking, standing, use of hands and fingers, handling, grasp, feel; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Additional effort: lifting, pushing and pulling material, stairs, ladders. When moving heavy material greater than 50 pounds, assistance or lifting equipment requested.
