Processing Associate – Night Shift! What You’ll Do (Job Overview)
As a Processing Associate at Vital Farms, you will work within our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing and production facility to wash, sort, and pack our pasture‑raised eggs from our family farms. This role at Egg Central Station (ECS) bridges the gap from local family farms to grocery stores. You’ll be on your feet during each twelve‑hour shift, moving, lifting, loading, and working within an air‑conditioned and sunlight‑filled warehouse.
- 2‑2‑3 schedule
- Week 1: 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on
- Week 2: 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off
- Shifts
: 12‑hour shifts (Night Crew – 6 pm to 6 am)
- Day Shift – $20.25 per hour + $3 per hour Night shift differential
- Holiday pay
- Healthcare (medical, vision, dental, life) starting first day next month

- Operate machines and robots to load, sort, and pack our pasture‑raised eggs.
- Maintain sanitary conditions for optimal food production.
- Ensure eggs meet standards by carefully following procedures and performing quality checks.
- Perform inspections on supplies and readiness for use.
- Operate powered jacks to move supplies and products within the warehouse.
- Handle other duties as required; flexible and problem‑solving.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English for safety and food quality.
- 1 year of work experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.
- Committed to following all personal safety requirements rigorously.
- Be flexible and execute other duties and production tasks required.
- Basic math skills: adding, subtracting, basic division.
