RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Medical 7B unit

• Choose between 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week

• 13-week assignment length

• Weekend hours as required by facility

• No call requirements

• Float on a rotational basis

• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week

• Patient ratios vary:
Days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:7 (ratios not guaranteed)

• Work with 32-bed unit caring for medical and medical telemetry patients, including those with developmental delays

• Use equipment including telemetry monitors, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps

• Work with EPIC EMR system

Required:

Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure, BLS from AHA, NIHSS certification

• Minimum 1 year inpatient telemetry experience required

• Must have experience and competence in drug titration

• Dress code:
Black scrubs only

• Flu vaccination required November 1-April 1

• Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift, lifting up to 50 lbs., and significant bending and stooping

• Utilize nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
