Director of Nursing

Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield is one of the premier behavioral health hospitals providing inpatient psychiatric treatment for children and teenagers. Responsibilities- Supervising all nursing staff.
- Overseeing nursing budgets.
- Reporting to higher‑management in the healthcare facility.
- Maintaining high standards of care for all patients.
- Managing patients’ data and medical records as confidential records.
- Communicating with medical staff, patients, and family members about patient health.
- Recruiting, training, and onboarding new nursing staff.
- Implementing new procedures and training for nurses regarding performance improvement initiatives or revised policies.
- Overseeing the therapeutic milieu.
- Planning and implementing a nursing performance improvement program in conjunction with the medical director.
- Active RN license and BLS certification.
- Prefer a master’s degree in nursing with a background in mental health; a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
- Healthcare management experience preferred.
- At least five years of progressive acute‑care experience and five years of behavioral‑health experience, preferably with children or adolescents.
- Proficiency in Joint Commission standards.
