As a Clinical Research Nurse (CRN), you’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating clinical trials that can change lives. Your expertise will guide our research efforts, ensuring that we provide the best care possible while adhering to the highest standards of compliance.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Research Nurse, you will:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of clinical trials, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Recruit and engage volunteers, making them feel valued and informed throughout the process.
- Maintain inventory of drugs, devices, and supplies, ensuring everything is ready for use.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and office staff to create a seamless research environment.
- Collect, compile, and analyze clinical research data while adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members, sharing your knowledge and experience.
- Build strong relationships with study sponsors and Contract Research Organizations (CROs).
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Education: A Nursing Diploma, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: A valid Registered Nurse license in your state of practice.
- Experience:
- 2 years of nursing experience for Bachelor's degree holders.
- 3 years of nursing experience for Associate's degree or diploma holders.
- Skills:
- Basic patient assessment abilities (vital signs, ECGs, phlebotomy, etc.) or a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in face-to-face interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
- A strong mathematical foundation, including knowledge of the metric system.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Preferred: Experience in phlebotomy and clinical research.
