Travel MedSurg RN

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a Travel Med Surg RN for assignments in Springfield, MO. In this role, you will deliver high-quality bedside care to adult medical-surgical patients, performing assessments, IV therapy, wound care, and medication administration while closely monitoring patient status. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate EHR documentation. • Provide direct nursing care to adult Med Surg patients, including assessments, IV therapy, and medication administration
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions, document care accurately, and respond promptly to changes in status
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
• Float as needed within Med Surg or related units while adapting quickly to new clinical environments
• Use electronic health records (EHR) for charting, orders review, and coordination of care
• Communicate effectively with staff, leadership, and Gifted Healthcare support team to ensure successful travel assignment
