American Traveler is hiring a Psychiatric RN for a night shift acute inpatient behavioral health position requiring recent psych experience.
Requirements- Active RN license (MO or Compact)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience (within the last year) in Behavioral Health/Psych
- Acute inpatient behavioral health hospital setting treating all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
- Unit is reopening and treats behavioral disorders, memory disorders, mental health disorders, and mood disorders
- Levels of care include detoxification, inpatient, and residential
- Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7p-7a
- Required to work every other weekend
- Paper charting used on the unit
- Provide age-appropriate psychiatric care including stabilization and personalized treatment planning
- Support patients across inpatient and residential levels of care
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Local candidates accepted within a 30-mile radius for local rates; candidates outside this radius are eligible for travel rates
