Critical Care Transport Nurse

This position involves providing comprehensive pediatric and newborn transport services, ensuring high-quality patient care in a critical care transport team. The role requires assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs within established nursing standards.

• Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on managing illness, injury, and post-treatment needs.
• Participate in activities enhancing patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; engage in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaborating with the interprofessional team, patients, and families.
• Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.

• Minimum education:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree;
  Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licensure:
  Valid RN license.
• Experience:
  
  3 years in pediatric transport, ICU, ER, or neonatal ICU; 5 years preferred.
• Preferred: 2+ years of relevant nursing experience.
