Float Requirements:
As required by facility (Units will depend on skill level of the nurse)
- Number of Beds: 24 adult/10 newborns
- Patient Ratios: 6:1 (estimates, not guarantees)
- Equipment:
Alaris IV pumps - EMR: EPIC
- Must Have Skills/
Experience:
Mother/baby and/or Med Surg - Preferred Skillset/
Experience:
Both Mother/Baby & Med Surg due to patient population - Type of Patients on Unit:
Mother/baby and med/surg, GYN surgical, bariatric procedures, colorectal surgeries
Personality Fit:
Team player, positive attitude, motivated self-starter

Black - Any unacceptable attire:
Anything besides black scrubs and Mercy branded tops
