American Traveler is hiring a night-shift LPN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring an active LPN license (if applicable) and BLS certification.
Requirements- LPN license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Associate degree in nursing required
- Floor nursing experience required
- Rehab nursing experience preferred
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Active license verification via Nursys required at time of consideration
- Work in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries
- 60-bed unit with an adult patient population and 7:1 patient ratios
- Uses workstations on wheels and patient lifts
- EPIC and UDS EHR systems used
- Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM with every other weekend required
- No floating or call requirements
- 12-week assignment
- Provide direct patient care within a rehab nursing unit, including assistance with mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Black scrubs required
- Report time is 6:30 AM on first day
- Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
