Looking for Volunteers to Help Pets in Need! 🐾
We’re looking for compassionate volunteers in Greene, Webster, and Christian Counties to temporarily care for dogs while their owners recover from illness, accidents, or need respite care. This is a great opportunity to help pets and their families during a difficult time.
What’s Involved:- Provide a loving home for a dog or dogs from 1–2 days up to two months, depending on the situation.
- Volunteers can choose to commit to short‑term or longer stays.
- All supplies (food, bedding, toys, and veterinary care) are provided by The Dog Stays.
- You provide a safe and caring environment, attention, and love for the dog.
- You may also need to take the dog to vet appointments or visit their owner while they recover.
- If you have pets, they must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.
- Your pets must also get along with other animals.
- A loving home where the dog can feel safe and cared for.
Suitable locations: your home in Greene, Webster, or Christian County, Missouri.
