Overview
Real Property Management Momentum has the perfect role for you as an Assistant Property Manager. You will nurture prospects, help renters find a home, and support tenant relations. If you have natural people skills and a desire to succeed, join our collaborative team.
Your Responsibilities As An Assistant Property Manager- Nurture Leads – contact incoming applicants, arrange showings, and follow up after showings with the goal of a signed lease and repeat residents.
- Conduct/Follow up Showings – handle self-showings or in-person showings and follow up with prospects to answer questions or provide a rental application. Present properties in an appealing way.
- Get Applications & Get Leases – guide leads through the application process to a signed lease.
- Process Applications and Complete the Move-in Checklist for new residents.
- Visit Properties – place signs and lockboxes as needed and complete inspections for move-ins, move-outs, and make-ready inspections.
- Tenant Relations – serve as primary contact for tenants, respond to questions, concerns, and maintenance requests.
- Solicit Feedback and Make Recommendations – gather feedback on rent pricing, features, and amenities to influence pricing decisions.
- Service with a Smile – provide a positive first impression and guide applicants through showing and application processes.
- Support the Property Manager with other assigned tasks as needed.
- View every interaction as an opportunity to grow relationships.
- Be willing to learn about property management and our processes.
- Have patience to answer questions and educate potential residents.
- Be diligent about follow-up and documenting details in the CRM.
- Stay focused on the right activities to achieve closing goals.
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, and build rapport.
- Familiarity with property management and leasing is a plus.
Minimum requirements to be considered:
- Working knowledge of various computer software.
- Experience using and updating a CRM.
- Experience in a customer-facing sales or customer service role.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Missouri Real Estate license is a plus.
Compensation is a base pay of $35,000-$40,000 annually, dependent on experience. There is a 90-day probationary period. After 90 days, you will have a performance review and become eligible for 401K matching up to 5% and 2 weeks PTO for 1 year (pro-rated at 90 days). Health benefits are not currently offered.
