Service Leader – Chipotle Mexican Grill

Overview

The Service Leader maintains a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides outstanding customer service. This role requires being on feet & working while clocked in unless on break, and evaluating other tasks when the line is not busy.

The Opportunity
  • Ensure great tasting, high‑quality food is served.
  • Help resolve food quality issues.
  • Support food safety by ensuring hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and following the Daily Food Safety Checklist.
  • Resolve customer incidents and work to ensure positive customer experiences.
  • Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
  • Develop and cross‑train front‑of‑house crew.
  • Assist with crew performance reviews.
  • Develop future Service Leaders.
  • Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies, and office paperwork.
  • Maintain office equipment and ensure supplies are ordered as needed.
Qualifications
  • Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
  • Have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Have knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
  • Be familiar with office paperwork.
  • Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
  • Hold a high school diploma.
  • Have prior restaurant experience.
