Job SummaryThe Sales Media Executive will assist in identifying key accounts, developing new business, and maintaining excellent client relationships while forecasting accurately and adhering to station rate guidelines.
Responsibilities- Sell advertising consistent with station policies and rate guidelines.
- Negotiate rates with local clients.
- Service existing accounts and create special sales opportunities specific to each client.
- Assist in producing client needs and act as a liaison with all departments.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
- Learn all research and utilize it in client proposals effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
- Television and digital sales experience is preferred.
- Wide Orbit and Microsoft Excel experience is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills are required.
- Excellent interpersonal and interdepartmental relationship skills are required.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Professional integrity and station representation are required.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
- Positive work atmosphere and teamwork skills are required.
