About the RoleBeing a Loan officer at First Residential combines sales, customer service, and financial expertise. You’ll help borrowers navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives—buying a home. It’s a high-energy, high-impact position where your determination and hustle influence success.
Our marketing team brings in fresh leads, so you’ll often call prospects who are already interested rather than cold-calling. Your job is to convert leads into success stories by building trust, analyzing financials, and guiding borrowers to the best loan option. The schedule is flexible, but expect to invest the time needed to meet and exceed goals.
Most work happens in the office, fostering collaboration and a supportive, competitive environment. The rewards of helping someone secure their dream home are meaningful.
Responsibilities- Calling leads to explain why First Residential is the right lender for them.
- Running credit through an online system and helping borrowers find the right loan for their situation.
- Handling all paperwork and keeping the borrower’s file on track until loan closing.
- Walking borrowers through the loan process and structuring loans, including setting up rates and fees that work for their needs.
- Supporting a collaborative team culture.
- Show grit and resilience in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Sales-focused and comfortable initiating contact and following up with leads.
- Flexible and able to identify creative solutions to complex problems.
- Strong time management and prioritization to maximize productivity.
- Eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and motivated to enhance performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for borrowers and teammates.
