As a Security Officer - Utility Patrol in Springfield, MO
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Tue 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Thu 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor the location for unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Communicate professionally with team members, visitors, and employees to support a secure environment.
• Follow all site-specific guidelines and instructions while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Assist with access control and visitor management, verifying credentials as required by site protocols.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
