Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting professional security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly-regarded team.

Schedule:

12-hour shifts, 12 am - 11:59 pm

Position requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and candidates must be at least 25 years old.

Full-time and part-time positions are available. Retirees and veterans are welcome to apply.

Prior law enforcement, military, or at least 1 year of security experience is preferred; however, training will be provided to suitable candidates.

You will help prevent and deter crime by:

• Performing regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Reporting security incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences
• Executing control procedures when necessary
• Operating emergency equipment
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports
• Investigating property breaches

You must meet the following requirements:

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Effective communication skills
• Professional appearance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, 7 days a week
• Reliable transportation
• Active cellphone
• Ability to pass a drug screening

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially in emergencies
• Ability to read and interpret written information
• Capability to operate a vehicle if required
• Ability to detect relevant sounds in noisy environments
• Physical ability to walk, run, stand, climb, and sit
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs waist-high if needed
• Good mental health to make quick decisions during emergencies
• Meet state licensing requirements for security officers, either armed or unarmed
