This position is for work to be performed in the 4-state area (MO/KS/OK/AR) and beyond, according to the needs of Branco.

A Pre-engineered Metal Building Worker is responsible for the staging and erection of prefabricated metal building packages for industrial and commercial projects.

• Read and interpret pre-engineered building drawings (blueprints)
• Determine the materials required and plan the sequence of tasks
• Prepare material prior to assembly
• Hoisting and guiding components into place using cranes or telehandlers
• Work from mobile elevated work platforms and operate them
• Rig hoist and move material
• Install fiberglass building insulation, metal cladding, standing seam roofs
• Install insulated metal panels, windows, passage doors

• Consistent dependability (must have good attendance)
• Reliable transportation for travel up to 75 miles to job site
• Lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance
• Stamina to walk, stoop, kneel, reach, climb and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
• Familiarity with hand & power tools (hammers, levels & squares, circular saws, impact drills)
• Carry own tools (tool belt, hammer, square, level, chalk line, pry bar, etc)
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedules
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Welding ability not required, but is a plus
• Layout for and placement of anchor bolts also desired

• PEMB Installation: 1 year

• Valid driver license
• OSHA 10-hr Construction Card (will train)

• Depends on Experience
