This position is for work to be performed in the 4-state area (MO/KS/OK/AR) and beyond, according to the needs of Branco.
PRE-ENGINEERED METAL BUILDING (PEMB) WORKER
A Pre-engineered Metal Building Worker is responsible for the staging and erection of prefabricated metal building packages for industrial and commercial projects.
Primary Responsibilities
Read and interpret pre-engineered building drawings (blue prints)Determine the materials required and plan the sequence of tasksPrepare material prior to assemblyHoisting and guiding components into place using cranes or telehandlersWorking from mobile elevated work platforms and operating themRig hoist and move materialInstall fiberglass building insulation, metal cladding, standing seam roofsInstall insulated metal panels, windows, passage doorsJob Requirements
Consistent dependability (must have good attendance)Reliable transportation for travel up to 75 miles to job siteLift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and up to 90 pounds of material with assistanceStamina to walk, stoop, kneel, reach, climb and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditionsFamiliarity with hand & power tools (hammers, levels & squares, circular saws, impact drills)Carry own tools (tool belt, hammer, square, level, chalk line, pry bar, etc)Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedulesAbility to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.Welding ability not required, but is a plusLayout for and placement of anchor bolts also desiredRequired experience
PEMB Installation: 1 yearRequired license or certification
Valid driver licenseOSHA 10-hr Construction Card (will train)Compensation
