Operator Telecom Drill Bores – Star Construction LLC

We are seeking a skilled Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. This role requires operating drill equipment and ensuring safety and compliance.

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Use “Mud” mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site set‑up, clean‑up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Age 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license (non‑provisional) with acceptable driving record.
• Valid Class A Commercial driver’s license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience with drilling equipment, including capabilities, limitations, and drill set‑up and design processes.

• Routine: work with arms above shoulder level, in confined spaces and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift greater than 55 pounds.
• Occasional: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse.
