Automatic Pedestrian Door Technician
Overhead Door Company of Springfield™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking a skilled Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technician or an individual with Electromechanical Technician experience. Must be able to safely lift 100 lbs. and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. We are willing to train.
Job Responsibilities- Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware including roll‑up doors (dock doors), dock equipment, high‑speed rolling doors, commercial entry doors, and automatic pedestrian doors.
- Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
- Operate in a safety‑conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Able to safely lift 100 pounds.
- Welding experience preferred but not required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
- Experience as an Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technician or in Electromechanical Technician roles.
- Medical, dental, and vision options available on the first day of the month following your start date.
