Automatic Pedestrian Door Technician

Overhead Door Company of Springfield™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking a skilled Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technician or an individual with Electromechanical Technician experience. Must be able to safely lift 100 lbs. and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. We are willing to train.

Job Responsibilities
  • Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware including roll‑up doors (dock doors), dock equipment, high‑speed rolling doors, commercial entry doors, and automatic pedestrian doors.
  • Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
  • Operate in a safety‑conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Able to safely lift 100 pounds.
  • Welding experience preferred but not required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
  • Experience as an Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technician or in Electromechanical Technician roles.
