We are seeking to add a Sheet Metal Installer to join our team! You will conduct installation and repair, inspections, and project preparation.
Responsibilities- Install, alter, and repair sheet metal products, equipment ducts and hoods for HVAC systems.
- Utilize blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Select appropriate material for each job based on desired or necessary strength.
- Coordinate required shutdowns and startups of equipment with other departments after sheet metal installation.
- Measure, cut, and weld pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or directions.
- Develop and maintain records for projects and repairs.
- Inspect products for compliance with specifications and quality standards and requirements.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
- Previous experience with sheet metal work or HVAC systems is preferred.
- Be able to read blueprints and schematics to understand product specifications.
- Safely operate machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work.
- Complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision.
- Ability to complete daily tasks with limited supervision and minimal errors.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to perform manual and repetitive tasks including standing/walking for long periods of time, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, pulling, pushing, lifting, and carrying.
- Be able to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
