High School Assistant Boys Track Coach (4 half stipends)
Position:
High School Assistant Boys Track Coach/Advisor (3) for the 2025-26 school year Spring Season.
Location:
Springfield High School. School Year: 2025/26. Closing Date: 11/02/2025.
The Springfield City School District is a nationally ranked Division I District serving approximately 7,500 Pre‑K through grade 12 students in 17 state‑of‑the‑art buildings. Responsibilities- Complete an approved CPR course issued by the American Red Cross, American Heart Association or similar entity.
- Complete a 4‑hour Sports Medicine or Sports Safety First Aid course issued by the American Red Cross or similar entity.
- Complete an 8‑hour Fundamentals of Coaching course as required.
- Complete the Concussion in Sports course as required.
- Complete and certification on ODE of the Lindsay's Law video as required.
- Possess or obtain a Pupil Activity Permit issued by the Ohio Department of Education.
- Serve as a role model and mentor to student athletes.
- Build strong communication links between students, parents and the community.
- Build strong connections with collegiate level contacts in academics and recruiting.
- Create disciplined team action plans with coaches and student athletes.
- Completion of all required courses and permits listed above on or before the first practice date and throughout the entire season.
- Pass Human Resources document filing requirements.
Stipend: $1,911.00. Full‑time employment. Additional benefits are provided by the district.
