We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and drive innovation, efficiency, and product excellence. This role will oversee all aspects of engineering operations, from design and development to production support, while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
- Oversee product development from concept through manufacturing release.
- Establish and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and business development.
- Ensure engineering documentation, design reviews, and project deliverables meet company standards.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on support in design, development, and problem-solving.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Partner with senior leadership to define strategic goals and long-term engineering initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams in product development and manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of design processes, manufacturing methods, and quality systems.
- Experience with CAD software and engineering tools.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO, or other quality and compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
