We are looking for a full-time licensed SLP/CCC to provide high-quality therapy services to residents with a wide range of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and diagnose communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in adult and geriatric populations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize resident outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and social work.
- Document all services provided in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Educate residents, family members, and staff on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
- Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to discharge planning when appropriate.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current SLP license in the state of Ohio
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical reasoning skills.
