About the Role

Explore opportunities with Home Care by Black Stone Springfield, part of United Health Group. As the Home and Community Based Services Aide, you will provide support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for individuals to remain in their own homes.

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use the EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
• Receive recognition and development opportunities in a supportive environment that challenges you and provides clear direction for success.

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of the client’s age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.

• 6 months or more of home care experience.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. The hourly pay for this role will range from $14.00 to $24.23 per hour based on full‑time employment.
