Recovery TechnicianDivision: Residential Services
Reports To: Program Coordinator
The Recovery Technician provides direct care, supervision, and support to clients in a residential substance use treatment program. This position helps maintain a safe and supportive environment while encouraging clients to participate in treatment and develop the skills needed for successful recovery.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise clients and monitor their behavior, safety, and participation in programming.
Encourage compliance with program rules, schedules, and treatment expectations.
Provide guidance and support with daily living skills and recovery education.
Document client activities, behaviors, progress, and incidents.
Communicate client concerns and updates to supervisors and treatment staff.
Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
Maintain facility safety, security, and confidentiality.
Assist with client transportation and medication procedures as authorized.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and required documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with individuals in substance use recovery.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
