Job Description s Professional Summary

Experienced CNC Machinist and Programmer with a strong background in process engineering support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to optimize machining operations, improve yield, and support tool functionality. Skilled in programming CNC machines, conducting root‑cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions in high‑tech manufacturing environments.

Essential Function

The CNC Programmer will support all activities related to one of our highly technical value streams. The successful candidate works with process engineers to monitor and control production processes, performs engineering experiments, investigates root causes, and completes actions to improve yield. The role also provides programming support for a CNC cell, supports maintenance team members to verify tool functionality after repairs, attends Material Review Board meetings, and collects and reports non‑conformance trends for critical manufacturing processes.

What

You’ll Do
  • Provide technical support and expertise to CNC machining operations.
  • Run and troubleshoot the CNC machines with corrective actions, presenting data to various levels of the business.
  • Create CNC programs for new products, review existing programs for improvement opportunities, and implement changes.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and process engineering teams to optimize machining processes, troubleshoot issues, and set up/qualify new machines.
  • Work effectively with cross‑functional teams to achieve production goals.
  • Provide support to internal and external customers, creating programs on time and troubleshooting them.
  • Support creation of work‑in‑process drawings, new documentation such as work instructions and preventive maintenance, and validate tool acceptance for running production parts.
  • Follow all company safety policies and report unsafe conditions to management.
  • Assist in applying lean manufacturing concepts and 5S.
  • Perform special projects or assignments and other duties as assigned by department management.
