Position Overview

* Sign‑On Bonus:
We are offering a $1,000 sign‑on bonus (less applicable taxes) for newly hired skilled trades positions*

Earn $36.42 per hour + 6% shift differential* & benefits beginning on day one!

• Installation and repair of all factory steam and pipe fitting systems, plumbing equipment, and fixtures.
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing pneumatic systems, including air logic, pumps, paint delivery systems, and more.
• Must be thoroughly experienced and competent on major work such as toilets, wash basins, drains and waste pipes, working to drawings, sketches, and instructions.
• Install and repair various kinds and sizes of factory pipe (e.g., gas, air, water, steam, oil).
• Select and calculate appropriate material and sizes for each job based on application and trade standards.
• Use of trade tools and machines such as pipe wrenches, cutters, dies, and threaders.
• General knowledge of hot water and steam heating systems; repair of all types of air and oil operated cylinders and valves.
• Develop and maintain records for projects and repairs; keep a clean and orderly workspace.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Journeyman certification in plumbing and steamfitting, OR a minimum of 8 years experience as a Plumber‑ Steamfitter.

Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. This position does not anticipate providing employment‑related work sponsorship (e.g., H‑1B status).

• Prior experience with plumbing and/or pipe fitting.
• Prior experience with soldering and use of blow torch.
• Understanding of pneumatic control systems.
• Ability to install and repair various facilities systems with accuracy and precision.
• Safe use of machinery and tools involved in plumbing work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair process equipment; ability to follow directions; ability to direct helpers; ability to read blueprints and schematics.
