Logistics Coordinator - Reference Lab

Peace Health in Springfield, OR is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our Reference Laboratory. This is a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. Salary range is $25.49–$38.18; hiring rate depends on experience, education, seniority, and collective bargaining agreement.

Minimum 10% travel within Oregon and Washington.

Job Summary

Serves as a resource supporting day‑to‑day logistics and implementation of programs across Peace Health. Supports internal and external operations, coordinates logistical and administrative support, schedules and arranges audiovisual needs, develops agendas, takes minutes, analyzes reports, and provides communication with caregivers.

What you will do
  • Coordinate logistics for the department: scheduling, planning, obtaining supplies, managing inventory, setting up for events, meetings, and daily activities.
  • Assist with maintaining the document library to ensure current, accessible, and updated materials.
  • Identify internal and external issues that impact the department and escalated through appropriate chain of command.
  • Track action items for meetings and workshops; assist with collection, analysis and documentation of evaluation data.
  • Participate in team meetings and prepare materials; follow up on action items.
  • Identify opportunities and support process improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What you bring
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associate Degree or combination of education and experience that provides requisite knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative program support experience.
  • Preferred:
    Experience in a laboratory/healthcare setting.
Skills
  • Demonstrated high level of skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). (Required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. (Required)
  • Skilled in project management with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks. (Required)
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and caregivers. (Required)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and display flexibility in a fast‑paced and changing work environment. (Required)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills. (Required)
